Case Study
Pink Chutney
Brand Content & Reels

Hamdan Hurzook · Full social media management · Rolls-led Indian kitchen, Dubai
The brief
Two brands, one owner, one kitchen. The risk was obvious: shoot them the same way and they become the same restaurant with two names. Pink Chutney needed its own personality — younger, louder, funnier built from the same four walls and the same team as its sister brand, on the same shoot days.
What we did
- Built a mockumentary format; handheld, conversational, staff talking to each other as though the camera isn’t there
- Cast the actual kitchen team rather than using presenters. They already had the chemistry
- Made rolls the hero dish and the team the hero characters
- Wrote recurring comedic beats, the taste test where nobody agrees, the rush-hour panic, the staff member nobody asks about the chutneys
- Shot both brands on the same kitchen days without letting the tone bleed between them
- Kept the edit deliberately rough; polish would kill the joke
The work
The craft note
Most restaurant content shows the food. This shows the people who make it and it’s funnier, cheaper to shoot, and harder to copy. Anyone can film a biryani. Nobody else has this kitchen’s staff.
